We’ve been busy. That’s probably the simplest and most honest way to put it. Over recent weeks, our hands have been full with extensive testing of our prototype. Interestingly, Gadlet itself has been deeply involved in this process, refining and iterating itself continuously. At times, the feeling is a little bit like watching the movie Terminator—seeing the AI take control and improve things automatically. It’s fascinating and a bit surreal, but the results speak for themselves. The better Gadlet gets, the faster and more efficiently it drives its own enhancements forward.
Besides our internal activities, we’ve intentionally spent a good amount of time testing and analyzing similar services—those platforms that could become our competitors. Not because we want to copy them or critique their choices. Quite the opposite: we give them all a sincere thumbs-up. Our motivation is to understand deeper how AI behaves in different contexts, to observe closely how various services utilize different Large Language Models (LLMs), and to learn from the logical approaches these other teams are taking.
Something fascinating happens when you’re deep in exploration: the path from curiosity to production becomes incredibly short. Without noticing, we found ourselves not just observing these platforms but actually building functional software inspired by these learnings. It’s hard to resist that tempting journey.
Naturally, we’ve encountered a few internal debates around technical choices—healthy and necessary discussions to make sure that decisions made today are robust enough for tomorrow. We’ve already adjusted a couple of foundational aspects to ensure longevity and scalability. No regrets there; solid groundwork always pays off.
So, what’s next for Gadlet? An important milestone is on the horizon: soon, we’ll launch a mailing list—perfect for those who want to stay closely updated and never miss an announcement. We’re also preparing to launch a waiting list in the near future, certainly before our first major user test sequence. Getting early testers on board is extremely valuable for us, as your feedback and insights are essential. They help ensure we build something truly useful, practical, and beneficial. Your voice will be a key part of making Gadlet not just good, but great.
Stay tuned, be patient, and know that we’re getting closer every day.
